Have you noticed your balance isn't what it used to be? Are you worried about falling? This class can help you improve balance, prevent falls and enjoy a higher quality of life. Exercises will be adjusted to your unique ability level.
In the eight 30 minute sessions you will discover:
- How balance works
- Why your balance may be deteriorating
- How to safely do balance exercises
- How to strengthen your legs to help prevent falls
We will also do exercises for:
- Reaction Time
- Better Posture
The class also covers the "How Tos" of: preventing falls in the home, developing an action plan in case you do fall, and getting back up after a fall.
